The Club can confirm that it has asked Hans Segers, Goalkeeping Coach, to step down with immediate effect.
Hans joined the coaching staff in 1998, in which he made two First Team appearances, before making the substitutes bench in the 2001/02 season due to squad injuries. "Hans has been a committed and enthusiastic member of the coaching staff and we should like to thank him for his contribution and hard work," said Sporting Director Damien Comolli. Perry Suckling our Academy Goalkeeping Coach will take over First Team goalkeeping training and an announcement regarding a new appointment will be made in due course.
